1. How did you get into the leather industry?

Our family business involves working with fur instead of leather, but the way of processing fur is quite similar to leather manufacturing. This work is not typically a monotonous work. We work with natural materials and this immediately causes variety. Every leather we are work with is unique. I had the opportunity to visit the U.S.A, Sweden and Italy and in every single country I’ve been, I had further training or a meeting with our customers. I’ve been lucky to meet many people and our little “leathery” world is just like a family. You never know when you’ll meet with someone again.

The “leathery” world is a little family. During my education I was in a multi-cultural community. I had classmates from all around the world. New people, new culture, new habits and I enjoyed every minute of it. The most wonderful part is that you’ll never know when and where you’ll meet again, actually I’ve met one of them in an airport and I was working with another one for a while.
